Rotary Joint in Automotives

Rotary Joint in Automotives

Rotary joint is used to provide fluid or air flow between moving parts. Uses in the automotive industry:

1) The brake system :

It is a mechanical system in an automobile used to reduce or stop the speed of the vehicle. Usually, the brake pedal is used to operate the vehicle's brake system. The brake system applies pressure to the brake calipers by pumping brake fluid. The brake calipers apply pressure to the brake discs, reducing or stopping the speed of the vehicle. The brake system allows brake fluid to flow from the pump to the brake calipers through rotary joints. Rotary joints ensure the movement of the fluid between the pump and the caliper and prevent the fluid from leaking. This makes the brake system work and reduces the speed of the vehicle or stops the car.

2) Lubrication system:

It is a system in the automotive industry and other industrial applications to lubricate between moving parts. The system ensures long life operation of the engine, gearbox, transmission and other moving parts. It consists of parts such as oil pump, filter, pipes, oil flow control valves and rotary joints. The oil pump pumps oil to the engine or other moving parts. The filter cleans the oil and the oil flow control valves ensure the correct flow rate of the oil. Rotary joints allow the oil to circulate between moving parts. By reducing friction between moving parts, the lubrication system prevents wear of the parts and improves the performance of the vehicle.

3) Cooling system:

It is a system used in the automotive industry and other industrial applications to reduce the heat of moving parts. Especially in the automotive sector, the engine cooling system keeps the engine running efficiently and safely. The cooling system consists of parts such as radiator, coolant pump, thermostat, ventilator and rotary joints. The radiator removes the heat generated by the engine or other moving parts with coolant. The coolant pump pumps the coolant to the radiator. The thermostat regulates the operation of the cooling system by controlling the temperature of the coolant. The ventilator increases the air flow behind the radiator, allowing the radiator to cool more effectively. Rotary joints allow coolant to flow from the radiator to the moving parts.

4) Emission system:

The emission system reduces air pollution generated during vehicle operation and to reduce environmental pollution. The emission system consists of parts such as catalytic converter, filter, sensors and Rotary joints. The catalytic converter purifies harmful gases generated during vehicle operation. The filter treats harmful particles or ash. Sensors measure and control the emissions produced during vehicle operation. Rotary joints ensure the flow between air, gases and liquids within the emission system. The emission system treats harmful gases and particulates that are produced during vehicle operation. The catalytic converter converts the harmful gases emitted by the vehicle into a less harmful form.
