Product Description
Mercotac Model 4100 Rotary Electrical Connector
Mercotac Model 4100 - 4-Conductor Heavy-Duty Connector
The Mercotac Model 4100 is an ultra-high capacity 4-channel rotary connector optimized for heavy industrial applications. Supporting up to 100A per conductor, this unit features a brushless liquid metal path that ensures a "noiseless" electrical bridge with a contact resistance of less than 1mΩ. Designed for high-torque applications at speeds up to 100 RPM, the 4100 series is exceptionally reliable for multi-phase power transmission plus a ground/neutral line, maintaining signal integrity for frequencies up to 100 MHz throughout its extensive service life.
Product Highlights
- 4-Channel Power: Quad independent conductors for 3-phase + Neutral systems
- Massive Current Rating: Engineered for continuous 100A performance
- Brushless Technology: Zero-wear liquid metal contacts for extreme longevity
- Ultra-Low Noise: Superior signal integrity for sensitive control data
- Zero Maintenance: Eliminates debris and brush replacement cycles
- High Torque Build: Industrial construction with 2500 gm-cm rotation torque

Operational & Safety Guidelines
- • Mounting Orientation: To ensure fluid continuity at high current, the unit must be mounted within 45° of the vertical axis.
- • High Current Wiring: Use properly rated flexible cables to prevent mechanical strain and terminal overheating.
- • Housing Note: The anodized aluminum body is electrically "hot" to one of the internal conductors.
